Revolution Dove
Women performers who have influenced rock and roll music through their music and way of thinking inspired this delicate, yet symbolic jewelry. The message of peace, love, and happiness spread through song during the 60’s and early 70’s. This was a time of rebellious behavior, change, and women’s rights.
Bell bottoms, floral head pieces and often times, peace signs and icons of doves adorned women during this time. This movement and new way of thinking changed the way the world thought about social justice and human rights. The dove is not only a spiritual symbol, but also symbolizes peace among humanity.
